At PC, students are challenged to extend the boundaries of learning through the activities they become involved in, the resources they utilize and the people they meet. Students are continually encouraged to contribute to the campus community in ways that can make a difference.

The Office of Student Activities Involvement Leadership – known on campus as the SAIL Office – provides quality services to students that contribute to their academic and co-curricular success. The office works closely with the Board of Programers, the student organization that plans activities to meet the social, cultural, educational and recreational interests of students.
The SAIL Office sponsors L3: Lifelong Leadership, the College’s leadership program; provides support to over 60 recognized student organizations; and coordinates the two-day summer orientation program for all new students.
The SAIL Office manages McPhail’s entertainment facility, which is open seven days a week and hosts events throughout the academic year. In addition, the SAIL staff oversees operations in Slavin Center, the College’s student union.
Local transportation, Things for Thursday, and the PC After Hours program also are sponsored by the SAIL Office to provide alcohol-free evening and weekend events.
