We are excited that you have chosen to include PC in your college search.  Beyond what you can learn about PC through the overall Web site, we invite you to explore these admission pages in order to understand what makes the application and college selection process unique at Providence College. 

From general advice about the process to our campus visit opportunities and learning about how we review an application, it is our hope to assist you as you begin your exciting, and at times daunting, college search.

At Providence College, students embark on an educational journey, and our staff of 15 professional counselors realizes that the journey begins with the college admission process.  As counselors, we hope to provide you with a clear sense of how we will review your application to Providence College, taking some of the mystery out of the process.  Not only do we hope to carefully select students that we feel are a good fit to the college, but we also hope that we can provide you with enough information to determine whether PC will be a good fit for you. 

While many students get caught up in the numbers and trying to gain admission to the perceived “best” college, we encourage you to look a little bit deeper in your college search -  think about what kind of college experience, both academically and personally, will meet your goals for the next four years.  Our staff is always available to answer your questions and help guide you in this important search.  In doing so, we hope that you may find Providence College is the place for you!
